National Pickleball Day in Canada

Clubs from around Canada and the world celebrated national pickleball day in various ways. In BC local clubs hosted events, largely in support of various charities or junior players.

The Invermere Pickleball Club celebrated National Pickleball Day on Saturday, August 10th, with a great morning of pickleball followed by a potluck lunch. Fantastic turnout including players from other clubs in the valley and visitors to the town. Fun was had by all!! (Prizes were award to the best dressed in Canadian garb to celebrate the wrap up of the Olympics.) Pickleball continues to flourish in the Invermere area with the club’s focus shifting towards growing an exciting Junior’s program for the area.
